Thank you so much for choosing Rose & Thread to create your special keepsake.
Before placing an order, please read and agree to these important terms and conditions.
PRICES AND PLACING AN ORDER
All product prices are clearly listed in GB pounds on this website and social media channels.
Postage, packing and personalisation is not included in product prices and is listed separately.
You will be quoted the full price of your order including postage, packing and personalisation before you complete your purchase.
Orders can be placed via the contact form, Rose & Thread's Social Media Channels below or by emailing roseandthread.sew@gmail.com. At the time of ordering, you will be advised how long the current waiting time is. This is usually no more that 8 weeks but in busy periods, this may be longer.
Although full payment is required before we can begin creating your keepsake, instalments can be arranged for orders over £60. A £10 deposit per keepsake is required to secure your slot. Payments can be made via BACS on receipt of the invoice from Rose & Thread.
SENDING YOUR CLOTHING
After placing an order, we will provide you with full details of where to send your items. We primarily serve customers in the Cheshire area, offering a convenient drop-off and collection service at our Winsford studio. If you prefer to post your items, we recommend using Royal Mail Tracked 24 and your keepsakes will be returned via the same service. Postal costs will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
Currently, UK postage is £7 for one bear and we ship to mainland UK only.
Please ensure that your sender details are clearly written on the outside of the package and enclose a note inside with your name, address, and any special requests.
All clothing should be washed before sending.
If you would like your leftover fabric returned, please let me know. Otherwise, it will be kept for 3 weeks and then donated or recycled.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Memory Keepsake animals are not intended for use as a toy. As each one uses different fabrics sent by you, they cannot be CE or UKCA approved and are not deemed safe for use as a toy.
They are not intended for use in play by children under 14 years of age.
Items supplied by us to complete your keepsake (eg stuffing, safety eyes etc) are CE/UKCA approved.
If the items you provide contain buttons, beads or fastenings these will not generally be used in blankets but may be used in Sacks, Stockings or Animals. These may cause a choking hazard for young children. If you would like these removed/included, please let me know.
REFUND POLICY
We work hard to ensure that you receive the keepsake you've imagined - or even better. We are confident you will love your item but, if you change your mind before we begin production, we will happily issue a refund. Building trust and confidence with our customers is at the heart of what we do.
Please note that, as each keepsake is individually handmade, the appearance may vary and may not look exactly like the example pictures shown.
For keepsakes and personalised items, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange unless the item is faulty or incorrect due to a mistake on our part. If this happens, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
E-Gift cards are non-refundable.

I usually share photos of finished keepsakes after they’ve been received. If your item is a gift and you would prefer me to wait until the recipient has seen it, please mention this when you order.
